Dent and Buckle Charts

Post by Bargioni »

Hello there.
We operate two DA42 and 6 DA40 aircraft in Kazakhstan for the purpose of flight training.
I am currently looking at introducing new documentation, including Dent and Buckle charts in the TLB. Does anyone else use D&B charts? I am interested in obtaining line drawings of the DA42 aircraft from different aspects (including the props).
I would appreciate any advice or tips.
Thanks

John

I learned something new; I had not heard of dent and buckle/D&B before. I doubt private owners (who make up most of the participants on the DAN forum) use these. You might check with some of the large flight schools that use Diamond Aircraft to see if they use them. Lift Academy in Indianapolis, Middle Tennessee State, Blue Line Aviation, and Embry-Riddle operate large Diamond fleets in training.

You might also check with Evionica, a Polish company that produces computer-aided training for Diamond (and other) aircraft, to see if they have the 3D models available to you for this purpose. Another possibility would be one of the X-Plane or MS Flight Simulator model providers. Aerobask offers a DA42 model for X-Plane.

You could also inquire through your sales/distribution channel to see if Diamond Marketing (in Austria) is seeing similar requests from their fleet customers.

Thank you very much some useful contacts here, I will try to contact them. Always good to be in touch with other similar operations.
