I checked and my GNS nav data also has only the RNAV Y Approach. I also see there are NOTAMS applying to the Y and both Z RNAVs

It’s odd Garmin would have the RNAV Y even though there is no chart for that approach.

It’s Jepp Nav Data in the GNS.

I have a Jepp subscription in Foreflight and there is no RNAV Y procedure for KEAT. There is ILS and ILS-Z for 12, RNAV (RNP) for 12, RNAV (RNP) for 30, VOR-A and VOR-B. Nor does Forelight list any FAA RNAV Y.

This seems universally consistent. AOPA airport information is the same. But somehow the phantom RNAV Y lurks in the panel device. And there is that mystery NOTAM referencing the phantom. If KEAT were nearby I’d be tempted to try to fly the RNAV Y (VFR, of course) to see what happens.

It could just be Garmin being slow on the DB update for the 430's. I've found errors in the Garmin DB before.

My 530/430 db's are Jeppesen-supplied.

Note that the OP was regarding the G1000. It seems the navigators have one thing and everything external has another with regard to this airport.

I put the Mar 23 cycle in my GNS's and nothing changed. RNAV 30 Y is still there. A mystery.

Odd, I also don't see that Y approach in Foreflight when looking at KEAT airport procedures, but I was able to add RNAV 30 Y RWY 30 via the flightplan in the maps view. Procedure -> Approach into KEAT -> RNAV Y RWY 30.

I tried this in Foreflight and you're right, it works. BUT it won't bring up a plate for the procedure.

Anyone want to try this in Garmin Pilot or other EFB?
