DA62 Seat Covers
G'day all,
I have the beige interior and looking to put seat covers on the front seats to protect the factory leather seats.
Any recommendations for suppliers or other tips?
I have found this online: https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/produc ... rs.AS-DMD6
Thanks!

Re: DA62 Seat Covers
Gordon: We bought the Aerosheep sheepskin seat covers for our DA62 first 2 rows about 4 years ago, and really like them. (It seems that Covercraft now owns or distributes Aerosheep.)
They were nice enough to ship us multiple small samples so that we could select the color that came closest to the same beige interior that you have:

What color did you find was closest to your beige interior?CFIDave wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 4:47 pm Gordon: We bought the Aerosheep sheepskin seat covers for our DA62 first 2 rows about 4 years ago, and really like them. (It seems that Covercraft now owns or distributes Aerosheep.)

Re: DA62 Seat Covers
I don't recall from 4 years ago. (I might still have the samples out in my hangar somewhere, in which case I'll report back.)Boatguy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 5:10 pmWhat color did you find was closest to your beige interior?CFIDave wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 4:47 pm Gordon: We bought the Aerosheep sheepskin seat covers for our DA62 first 2 rows about 4 years ago, and really like them. Re: DA62 Seat Covers
CFI Dave, thanks for the input. I would say there is a strong chance your color is " Sand" or less likely "ivory" from the look of the web page.

Re: DA62 Seat Covers
I've got some Covercraft samples coming and will let the group know what color best matches a "Diamond Deluxe Cashmere Beige" interior. After my DA62 is delivered, that is: it went to flight test yesterday in London, so it can't be that far off.

Re: DA62 Seat Covers
In our hangar I found the 6 samples that Aerosheep/Covercraft sent us a few years ago, and the sample that represents the sheepskins we have installed in my DA62 (that very nicely matches the beige leather interior -- see photos above) is marked "Tan" with the code "SC10."

Re: DA62 Seat Covers
I have been contemplating these covers as well for my DA62.
Worth the money? only to protect the seats or does it make a big difference when flying?

Re: DA62 Seat Covers
I can't compare the seats without the sheepskin covers but I will say that with the covers one can sit in those seats a long, long time and not have your butt get sore. I have done some 5.8 hour flights with no discomfort. I would put them on par with the wool/sheepskin seats that they install in wide-bodies where once could spend up to eight hours in the flight deck.
I would also tend to think that with an air gap between you and the leather seat that the seats would not generate hot spots on your legs and back either.

Re: DA62 Seat Covers
I received the promised samples from Covercraft and the Sand color is a very close match to my new 62’s beige leather interior.CFIDave wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 3:18 am In our hangar I found the 6 samples that Aerosheep/Covercraft sent us a few years ago, and the sample that represents the sheepskins we have installed in my DA62 (that very nicely matches the beige leather interior -- see photos above) is marked "Tan" with the code "SC10."
