Flying the Baja Boondoggle (Part 1): Outbound to Mulegé

Post by waynemcc999 »

We’re off again (gladly!) to the Baja… this time as mostly a leisurely boondoggle, with a touch of charitable action thrown in. After Bill and Jason pick me up in Bill’s pumped-up C182, we fly the Coliseum route through the LA Bravo, get cleared through the San Diego Bravo, then onward to clear customs in San Felipe. Our final leg is along the gorgeous Gulf of California down to rustic Mulegé and the charming Hotel Serenidad, where we’re joined by the Comanche crew of Larry, Joe, and Linda. Welcome aboard!
