Today: Both altimeters say 7,000 ft. AP set to hold 7,100 ft. There was a momentary updraft, hence the 100 fpm. Subjectively, the altitude held steady. Here are alternative versions of altitude being reported to me:
The transponder (not show here) was reporting FL 070, which is PA. Flight Aware shows 7,000 ft., consistent with the transponder PA. My practice is to set the AP 100 ft above desired altitude because of a known inaccuracy in the altitude encoder.
Note the "Connext" Cabin Altitude. This is from the FS210, which is mounted in the instrument panel, which I suspect is somewhat pressurized by the cooling air system. I'll check that out in more depth sometime soon.
