GMA 1360/G1000 NXi: Passengers can't hear com radio

I tried going through all the items in the GMA config menu but no luck finding a "passengers hear comms" toggle. Anyone know if it's in another screen? Or mahbe a physical connection issue?

A bit off-topic, but if you have the GMA1347 and G1000 NXI in a DA62, you have NXI Phase I so perhaps consider getting the NXI Phase II upgrade. It will swap the GMA1347 for a Bluetooth GMA1360 that has some handy features. It will also position you for future Phase III software updates with some useful "missing features" discussed in other threads.

Totally agree with Paul. I am very satisfied with Phase II and looking forward to Phase III.

A setting in Configuration Mode for the newer Phase II GMA 1360 audio panel (the same screen where you can also enable 3D audio) will let passengers hear the radio:

"While passenger in ICS, route selected COM audio to passenger"
Just change OFF to ON

And there's a similar setting:
"While passenger in ICS, route selected NAV audio to passenger"
change OFF to ON
although I don't think most passengers care about hearing marker beacons, morse code, or VOR audio communications

Same GMA software version. Keep scrolling down the page to see *all* of the configuration options; I seem to recall there were about 3 screens worth.

Marker beacons? How quaint Australia turned all of ours off a couple of years ago. (A backward step IMO; the beeping was a useful reminder to check altitudes.)
