DA42 unlock card in miami
Might need to reload my G1000 software away from home in Miami. Unfortunately my unlock cards are in Puerto Rico 1000 miles away. Does anyone have a spare set of cards they could lend me in the Miami area?

Just found out dealers can download the software from Garmin site on a normal SD card. Crisis potentially averted

As you now know, any dealer should be able to download the software and drop it on an SD card to reload. However, the unlock cards are trickier, so if you have SVT / TAWS-B you likely won't be able to get that re-enabled until you get back home. I went through the replacement unlock card process and it was a lengthy one, requiring a $9000 down payment to Diamond for a new unlock card and a not-yet-issued refund once installed. I still had to pay $300 for the card itself. Cards can't be shared as after the initial install they are locked to the system ID they were installed on.
