Built in O2 cylinder
Who's the manufacturer of O2 cylinder built in DA42 and what's the model/part number?
Mine is about to expire and I'd like to order new one but I don't like the idea of paying $1000+ for something that costs $200.

Re: Built in O2 cylinder
My DA62 had a leaky regulator/valve assembly so a new cylinder and valve assembly was ordered on warranty. They ordered part number 4110-122-03-11.

Re: Built in O2 cylinder
Thanks but I'm not interested in Diamond's part number. My question was about original manufacturer product.

Re: Built in O2 cylinder
In the U.S. it's just a medical O2 cylinder. I suspect it can be replaced with any certified medical O2 cylinder of similar dimensions.

Re: Built in O2 cylinder
I don’t think it’s possible in EASA-land due to various certification issues.

Re: Built in O2 cylinder
If the cylinder is easily accessible, just examine it for the manufacturer's (Aerox's) P/N. There are many, many components in my airplane that I have sourced directly from the manufacturer at a significant cost savings.

It's not - that's why I thought someone here has already checked it and knows P/N and cylinder's specifications.

Re: Built in O2 cylinder
It seems like it should be this one but I haven't confirmed it directly.
I see a reference to that part number in a Diamond document, and the specs seem to match.

Re: Built in O2 cylinder
Thanks - the part number matches but the weight doesn’t. Aerox specifies 9 lbs while POH says 7.4 lbs.Chris wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 4:40 pm It seems like it should be this one but I haven't confirmed it directly.
