Is there a way to test the flap indicator lights without moving the flap switch? Other aircraft have buttons where you can light up all the gear indicator bulbs.
ps: And I just noticed that if you turn your head sideways the flap position graphic looks like King Julien XIII from Madagascar 2.

Not that I know of. One thing I have learned is that the flap indicator lights dim with the dimmer. If you have not returned the dimmer to full intensity after a night time flight then you might (wrongly) think your indicator lights are burnt out.
(Nice pickup on the graphic lol)

As an aside, if you do have to replace one of these lights, how do you do it?

IME, a short piece of the appropriate-sized heat shrink tubing works great. Sort of like a Chinese finger puzzle.

Re: Testing the Flap position indicator lights
The tubing method works great if you can find the right size to get it over the bulb snugly. There's an old thread here that describes some other methods.
The bulbs seem to take a bit more effort to pull out than they should. Feels like they are held in place magnetically.

Re: Testing the Flap position indicator lights
I just replaced my flaps-up position bulb for the second time. The other ones are original. It makes some sense, of course, since the green light is on more than the others by far. I'm now down to 13 spares
Those little tweezers I have work great.
