Yes, Happy Thanksgiving Lou & Charles! And Lou, as the first "C" plane to sign up, you move to the head of the class (after a data sort by registration). So please spread the word up there to your friends above the 49th parallel, even though it will eventually displace you from your current pole position.

Finally, a warm welcome to Bruce (N526DS) and Brian (N658DS) for also self-entering - we're up to 58 aircraft now. And with several more large flight schools that will hopefully be signing up next week - this number could quickly blast us right past the 75th milestone and push the list into the 80+ range. Wouldn't that be great!?

Scott, in previous post the link was somehow shortened and became unusable, probably due to copy-paste. Please correct it in subsequent posts.

Yes, you're right Emir. It was a copy & paste error on my part, AND I wasn't always testing the link after posting. So good catch!

Fortunately, Chris came to my rescue today. As he kindly sent me step by step instructions on how to imbed the petition link (just as he did above). So a big thank you to Chris for his Black Friday tech. support!!!

Testing one, two, three. . . .

For those owners who have yet to do so, please sign the G1000 petition by clicking HERE

Over the long holiday weekend, several more aircraft signed up. My thanks to the most recent owners who signed up within the last few days: Jason (N272MB), Robert (N831BA) and Tim (C-GKVW).

We're now at an even 60 aircraft! To add your aircraft, please click here

Also, would like to give a shout out to Neema for checking the volunteer box on the spreadsheet. As we will likely need help, if and when, a mailing becomes necessary. My thinking for now is to hold off on this until early next year and see what type of response Emir and Bartek receive from their upper level management contacts at DAI.

In the meantime, is anyone aware of a company where pre-printed mailing labels for specific aircraft make and models can be purchased? Otherwise, I'm hoping more owners like Neema will volunteer, so as to minimize the data entry work of the owners list that CFI Dave so generously provided us.

Actually as much as like and respect CFI Dave ( he checked me out in N16FA), ‘‘twas I captain David who sent the list which was supplied by my FAA friend. David N16FA
