Welcome to the DA20 Club, Pascal! The feeling is like none other in the world - one of the few things in the world that justifies opening the wallet so wide sometimes - worth every single penny!

As for tie-down, our here in BC - I pay $65/month - available hangar space is non existent - so much demand for so few hangars! Our airport management is terrible

It may not be too much help Charles but I travel to Phoenix occasionally in the winter and the tie down rate for KGEU is $30/month. At KEUL, one of my base airports, tie downs are $17.16/month (don't ask) and my other base, KMYL (a ski and boating recreation area) charges $50/month with a 25% discount for seasonal rentals.

I hope this helps a little.

Hi Pascal, enjoy your new plane! I bought a 2001 C1 6 years ago and love it. Yes, it's normal to trim the nose down so much if you want to fly 'fast.' I asked the same question when I first started flying it.

Quick question. At 2500 RPM, is it normal that the DA20-C1 needs full down trim to fly level?
Pascal,
C0066 needs a good bit of nose-down trim in cruise. I would not call it "full down" but it is at the bottom on the trim indicator range. Also, the AMM (27-31) states the elevator trim is "not adjustable" - but it does state you can "Adjust the Elevator Trim Position Indicator" -- so if you visually see that neutral trim of the elevator is not neutral trim of the indictor, there is an AMM procedure to address that.

Tie-downs at KGTU are $75 (US) per month when available. Overnights, $5.00. No landing fees. 180 on hanger wait list!!! Took me 5 years to get my T-hanger @ $325 month! Booming airport down here.
