PNW Diamond fly-in 6/17/23 in Oregon
The annual “Diamonds in the Pacific Northwest” Fly-in is scheduled for Saturday, June 17th at Prineville, Oregon (S39). Join fellow Diamond aviators for lunch, swapping off tall tales, and ogling each others’ birds. Lunch will be provided courtesy of Diamond Pilots Association. For those who might wish to stay overnight for whatever reason, there are motels in town and in nearby Redmond. And for one lucky person a free overnight stay at a goat farm would be available.

While not Diamond owners any more (although my pilot wife currently has a dry lease on a DA40NG at KJYO) and we don't live in the Pacific northwest, we'd love to attend.
We'll be dropping our E1000 off at the Epic factory in nearby Bend on 6/14 for its 4 week annual inspection (including application of about a dozen service bulletins under warranty). Rather than traveling back home to the east coast during the annual, we plan to drive around the northwest as "tourists" while waiting for the annual to complete, and then flying our Epic home. (Fell in love with the Bend area last year when undergoing Epic transition training and flying approaches to Bend, Redmond, Madras, and Prineville)

Dave, look into the Shakespeare Festival. https://www.osfashland.org if you enjoy theater it is amazing.

If I can talk my passengers into adding a day to our Alaska cross-country, we’ll plan on being there, too.

Re: PNW Diamond fly-in 6/17/23 in Oregon
No sooner said then I find out there's not one, not two, but _three_ family-ish events not on the calendar for that day. However my wife's bestie may be coming in for the weekend. If she does, then I'll be free to fly...
