IFR out of Half Moon Bay (Part 2)
Part 1 of this two-part series had copilot Brian flying the approach to minimums at Half Moon Bay (KHAF). After a great lunch, we now get to depart through Low IFR… and reinforce an important lesson. Welcome aboard! Wayne, GeezerGeek Pilot

Nice job Wayne. I like your idea of preloading an approach procedure for the departure airport in case of engine failure on climb. Did you go to Display Backup mode for your copilot at your destination?

Re: IFR out of Half Moon Bay (Part 2)
David, good question... on the arrival at KHAF (Part 1 video) we did have the copilot screen in reversionary (Display Backup) mode because Brian was the pilot flying (PF)... on the departure from KHAF (Part 2 video) with me as PF we had the MFD displaying engine instruments.

Love your videos Wayne! As a future IFR rating as one of my goals, I really enjoyed this. Thanks for putting all the effort into a quality video!
