Landing on grass with wheel fairings
There is a nice grass landing strip not far from Atlanta that has a restaurant. I would like to go there and have a $100 hamburger. I am wondering, is there enough clearance to safely land a DA 40 with wheel pants on a grass strip?

Re: Landing on grass with wheel fairings
Hello,
My DA40 is located on an airfield with only grass RWY and TWY and I often land on other grass RWY airfield.
I never had a problem due to clearance with the wheel fairings.
Of course, it will depend on the grass height, but I guess that the owner mows the grass.
Arnaud.

Same. I land on 31 occasionally and no issue. Just keep the nose up!
