I did some simulated instrument approaches today with a married pilot couple. One as the official safety pilot with he and I having access to my iPad and the other armed with her Foreflight iPad connected to my Stratus both watching for traffic inside and out. Can't have too many eyeballs. :D

More sets of eyes definitely better:

Especially when no radar services or ADS-B (flying MARSA), and lots of steam gauges to keep track of. I'm on a headset sitting behind the pilot, taking the picture. 4 sets of eyes in the cockpit, pilot, copilot, flight engineer, and me...
