My DA 42 T.D.I. Has not had the RSB -42-066 (dated 04-Dec-2008) completed , so I just had the right aux tank pump lose prime. the pump will not transfer fuel to the main tank. I will be doing the RSB soon. I would like to know the maker of the solenoid and buy direct if possible.
Thank you

David:
Looks to be a Parker-Hannefin solenoid valve:

The one you want is on pages 42-43. It also looks like you will need an assortment of other parts like fittings, brackets, etc.

I am going with the Diamond kit the price is not too crazy (a bit over 1200 for both) and I do not have to chase parts.

@cptndavid
Did you manage to solve this issue?
We are experiencing the same problem with XFR pumps loosing prime.
If this works consistently, we will go for the mod as well.
Thanks
