It is a bunch of things together. I believe in general better brakes means smoother application. The CFI that did a landing clinic with me after my last flat stressed smooth application and steadily increasing the pressure on the brakes. This was tougher to figure out with the factory brakes and made much more sense with the Beringers.
I would guess that 40% would not be an unreasonable guess, but I did not do a side-by-side test. I imagine you get a much bigger reduction in shaving 5kts off the over-the-fence airspeed, which was what my next landing clinic did with my original CFII.

Worth noting for the DA62, the Beringer STC is STC-021 and you can find them here: https://www.beringer-aero.com/en/complete-kits-stc

Re: New Brakes, Tubeless Tires
I believe we are waiting on a DAI Parts List for the install before it can happen. I suspect if anyone had installed the straight STC we would have heard by now.
Most interesting is if the wheel caps or aerodynamics of the retracted position is maintained.
Question for OSH.

I don't think hub caps are accommodated. This is the wheel on a 42 but I think it's the same for 62s
