DA62 oxygen outlet ports
My new-to-me 62 came with a busted-up jumble of O2 hoses, flowmeters, and cannulas. I'm replacing it all with new, clean gear -- everything from the ceiling ports all the way to the stuff that sits on your face.
Mountain High is being very helpful. However, I can't order new hoses until I can tell them the model number/type of the oxygen outlet ports that Diamond installs in the ceiling, so they can send me hoses with the right connectors.
I'm hoping someone here has that information. Anyone? Bueller?
Also: Has anyone invested in MH's O2D2 pulse-demand device? What's the best use case that justifies this investment (about $2500 to outfit the plane for four passengers)? And where do you stash the little black boxes? The last thing I need is more little boxes floating around inside the plane. OTOH, in this plane, I can imagine that I'm going to spend many hours above 10K', and will thus go through a lot of air.
Thanks.

Re: DA62 oxygen outlet ports
This is an excellent topic. An effective way to mount the O2D2 and eliminate all spaghetti junction cables in the cockpit would be good. Ultimately picking up O2D2 oxygen at a point beside the Lemo connector would be best.

This has been discussed here multiple times previously, so please do a search. You're on the right track getting the O2D2 for your DA62.BlueYonder wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:44 pm Mountain High is being very helpful. I don't think the actual physical layout and plumbing has been documented.

Re: DA62 oxygen outlet ports
DA62 "physical layout:" The small pressure adapter hangs from a ceiling outlet via a short piece (about 3") of tubing, with a longer length of tubing leading from the pressure adapter to the O2D2 box that can sit anywhere. We typically locate the O2D2 box right behind the center console on the floor of the middle row. Then plug cannulas for front (pilot/co-pilot seat) occupants into the box, so that cannula tubing is routed low and behind the pilots along the center console, roughly parallel to your headset cords (which plug into the center console under the armrest).

What CFIDave said. I'd add that you can attach a small piece of the Velcro-like material Mountain High ships with the O2D2 to the back of the unit and it will stick nicely to the carpet on the back side of the spar carry through behind center console. This holds the unit oriented vertically so you can easily reach back from the pilot's seat and twist the knob that selects the O2D2's operating mode.

I have the O2D2 box. I love it. It makes the O2 bottle last forever. It is ships power off a USB plug in the luggage area.

Re: DA62 oxygen outlet ports
All I needed, really, was the model number for the oxygen outlet. Mountain High says there are just four types; they need to know which one before they can kit me up.

Re: DA62 oxygen outlet ports
Based on the DA62 IPC, the part number is 4110-400-2 which very likely corresponds to this AEROX part.
https://www.aerox.com/4110-400-2-mainfo ... tlet-dual/
I noted in the IPC that other parts of the DA62 O2 system are provided by AEROX.

A search of this website for "O2D2" would have answered your question:BlueYonder wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 8:49 pm All I needed, really, was the model number for the oxygen outlet. Mountain High says there are just four types; they need to know which one before they can kit me up.
