Yes, those are in place. But I don't think I've actually had anything plugged into them yet to make sure there is power there.CFIDave wrote:Did you get USB 5V power outlets included in your DA62 (a pair under each end of the instrument panel + another pair in the rear of the center console for 2nd row passengers)?

CFI Dave -
Was your DA62 built in Austria or Canada? I'm guessing Austria based on serial number?
If so, did you ferry this one back like you did your DA42?
Thanks -
John

Re: iPad Mount Options
My DA62 was made with love in Austria (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbT5FdRDLJU). Last year Diamond ferried it across the pond without me to Canada, where I picked it up -- unlike my DA42 where I came along on the ferry flight. The only downside to this is that you take delivery of a new plane with nearly 40 hours on it already; I saw a video posted online where Diamond's ferry pilot even took my DA62 sightseeing to Niagra Falls on his way to London, Ontario.jb642DA wrote:Was your DA62 built in Austria or Canada? Thanks Dave -
Ours will be making its way from Austria sometime in the 2nd half of June - hopefully it will be ready for delivery the week of 7/9.
Your DA42VI ferry story was very well done! I enjoyed reading it!

Re: iPad Mount Options
item 2) from above is no longer correct. As I spoke with mgf yesterday and they're no longer carrying the X-Naut units. As of this week, the lowest price and best source for a timely delivery is from x-naut directly.

Re: iPad Mount Options
I am having Diamond Aircraft official factory RAM MOUNTS fitted to my DA62.115 which will secure the new 2018 iPad Pro 11” tablet. Will let you know how I get on.
I wish you happy holidays and safe landings!

Re: iPad Mount Options
I promised to send a photo of my new 11“ iPad and DA62 factory fitted Ram mount. The position is just perfect and does not obscure either outward vision or the circuit breakers.
