Diamond has documentation for installing the Aspen EFD1000 in the DA20-C1, but not the A1. And they won't share any documents on the C1 install either. The issue is how and where to mount the RSM {antenna module) on the composite airframe which Aspen hss no STC for.
Has anyone out there installed an Aspem PFD in their A1 Katana yet? It looks like I will have to work with a DER to make this happen, and I am worried the expense and hassle of it all will be too much for me.

I had to use a DER on my install in the da40. The expense was not that much. The Aspen is very nice.
