Garmin Pilot - Aircraft Performance data

Post by Esantos »

Hi everyone,

Happy to anounce I now belong to the DA42 owners group :), bought it 2 months ago, along with the Garmin Pilot App subscription to make the flight plans.

I'm having trouble to set the aircraft performance, in order to create automatic "auto route" flight plans. Didn't manage to find the specs online, so I am using the NG data, but it is not exactly the same...

Does anyone have the VI version perfomance file I could download?

Many thanks in advance for your interest,

Best,
Eduardo

Congratulations, Eduardo!

(Sorry I can't help with the Garmin Pilot file, I'm on ForeFlight, which has the DA62 performance profile.)

Eduardo:

Since Garmin Pilot doesn't have performance information available for the DA62, I made my own using the numbers from the Diamond POH/AFM. I entered the performance for various combinations of power (75% economy through 95% max continuous on the DA62) and altitudes for every 2000 feet. You can also do this for the DA42-VI. It works great.
