Just had waste gate actuators changed and had to abort a takeoff because of only getting 60% power initially with a very slow climb to 100% power after that. It was enough to throw a code on one side--the left was slower than the right.
Didn't do this prior to going into the shop. Got to 100% power (or within a few percent) almost in sync with the lever position, if that makes sense.
Anyone else have this issue? Initially it was north of 10 seconds per side to get to full power. After 5-10 full power run ups, it takes 6-8 seconds from throttles full forward to near-100% power. Go-arounds would be fun.
How long to get to 100% power?

Re: How long to get to 100% power?
I had this problem (slow throttle response on one side but not the other) in my DA42-VI. G1000 showed no errors. The problem turned out to be a bad governor.
But in your case it it sounds like the turbo waste gate controllers are misadjusted. The A&P working on the plane has to use a pressure gauge to adjust each threaded rod properly.

We raised that point but the shop said they were calibrated correctly.
Eventually made them change actuators again and the problem immediately went away. It was either a faulty set of actuators or... they were never adjusted properly.
