Two 'down limit' folding stay switch (on DA42-VI)

Post by WOW2 »

Hello,

Looked at FIM and AMM both for to look for function of those switches on nose folding stay, could not find clear answer.

Not really looking for an answer but if anyone could come up with sources I may look into, that will be great.

I hope this is the right forum to enter this kind of question, if not just let me know.

Can you provide a photo of what you are looking at?
To the best of my knowledge there is only one micro switch on the nose gear folding stay. Its function is to operate the gear lights to indicate if the gear is locked or in transit.

I am sorry, I cannot post the picture here but if you look up in the AMM for DA42NG manual, you will find one in front and behind nose gear folding stay...
