The Canada factory can produce remanufactured DA42s on demand by taking older Thielert-powered DA42s parked out on their ramp (like Cary's plane), usually stripping them down, and installing whatever options are desired by the customer -- resulting in a "like new" DA42 TDI or NG. This may include new or different engines, GFC700 autopilot, new interior, etc.
