Discrepancy between totaliser and fuel gauges

Rather than fuel tank calibration, perhaps the capacitive rod sensor that detects fuel in just the "extended" part of your left main tank is no longer working. That would account for an indication 5 gallons too low.

Hi All.
An update. I took the plane back to the factory. The guys there are great specially Ed and Trevor. They did multiple tests to diagnose the issue with the imbalance. They found out the it is the prob issue. They had to take the wings off to fix the probs. All is back to normal and I am a very happy pilot. BTW the service centers on their website are not accurate and they don't answer their phones.
