This one has no AUX tanks, no storm scope and no oxygen, but it has TKS and TCAS. Stormscope is not of much value anyways and oxygen can be done with a small bottle. And you can get satellite weather externally.
Okay, it has no WAAS and no GFC700, but then it would be double the price.
My plane is sitting at DAI-Canada waiting for a buyer to decide what engines they want. I just did the prop overhaul so the props are like new. It has the extended tanks, TKS, GDL69A, and a few other additions. Unlike the advertised one above, it has no damage history. Including the European VAT and the $ to euro exchange, I suspect that the price will not be much more. Diamond doesn't have it advertised on its CPO list, but it is there and available.

That's what I was trying to nudge toward. I would be MUCH happier with a plane that the factory had done an upgrade on and there was a veritable fleet of planes up there to pick from (although Cary's seemed to be the best among them, knowing its history).

Cary, what was your tail number? I plan to be at the London factory next week picking up a DA62 to ferry to its new owner so I may be able to look for your plane.

Thanks guys for all great info. Another question is on the TBO Austro A300, would the 1800 hours TBO apply retroactively to engines installed in 2011 or would these engines have only 1200 hours.
Thank you
