I have a portable ADS-B unit that I used before my GTX345R went in. Of course it is not a certified solution but could be of assistance - PM if you want. It's an ADS-B Out only unit from http://adsb.skyguardtwx.com.
Maybe you can ask FSDO if you can fly with it for the ferry flight as an option. It is mainly just for LSA/Experimental - used it to get full traffic picture early in the ADS-B time frame when I was using my stratus for ADS-B in.
