- Copilot side spar reinforcement after post-cure and peel ply removal
My A&P/IA did the inspection today. He was supposed to do it last week, but he had to quarantine, due to testing positive for COVID. Despite being fully vaccinated, he got a mild case from his grandkids. Even though we both wore masks, we stayed at opposite ends of the airframe. He brought a can of spray disinfectant and sprayed down all the tools he touched as well as my creeper, just to be on the safe side.
I reinstalled all of the access panels, now just have to reinstall the interior (my second least favorite job after cleaning and greasing wheel bearings). Planning to have him sign it off on July 1, so I get an extra month till the next one...
