I noticed the mixture control metal locking lever has developed some lateral play, such that it still works but it’s wobbling left and right.
Is this something I can fix myself? Not sure if I need to tighten something inside the red knob, or underneath the power quadrant travel plate.
I probably caused this trying to fine tune mixture too much getting it lean of peak. So I’d also welcome thoughts on how to fine tune mixture without always holding the locking lever and loosening things up.

Re: Wobbly mixture locking lever
The good news: It pivots on a hex-head screw and locknut and probably just tightening will take care of it. The bad news: It looks to be a bit of a bummer to get to. Maybe just removing the right seat will give you enough access.
