Has Garmin announced that they are/will be working on a GFC500 for the DA40? If so, that would be game changer for me and my steam gauge DA40-180.

Re: 2008 DA40D Purchase Advice
I just bought and closed on a 2008 DA40F. Mine has the G1000 and WAAS so it is a different animal in that respect. A couple of gotchas that came up during the annual (before purchase, thankfully) is that the Powerflow exhaust system had not been properly maintained and had to be overhauled at considerable expense. Also the 12 year Major Structural Inspection had not been performed and was required as per the contract. Fortunately no anomalies were noted there. In addition please be aware that there is an electrical bonding inspection/test required at 1000 hours which seems to get missed.

Thank you! Is there also a calendar limit on the electrical bonding inspection?wmbjenkins wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 10:01 pm ... the 12 year Major Structural Inspection had not been performed and was required as per the contract.
