They replaced the engine ... the engine in question was shipped to Austro a while back.
I tracked down and spoke to the pilot. He has not yet heard why/what happened. He still has confidence in the NG engine...
I was told by LifeStyle a few weeks ago that Austro had communicated a response/cause/post-mortem on this incident back to the flight school that owns the plane. He did not know or tell me the details of that. Maybe someone on DAN can find out and broadcast

I was at Take Flight last week and the head mechanic indicated they had NOT yet received a determination from Diamond. I'll be there again in a couple weeks and will ask again.
