I was told by LifeStyle a few weeks ago that Austro had communicated a response/cause/post-mortem on this incident back to the flight school that owns the plane. He did not know or tell me the details of that. Maybe someone on DAN can find out and broadcast

I was at Take Flight last week and the head mechanic indicated they had NOT yet received a determination from Diamond. I'll be there again in a couple weeks and will ask again.

Unfortunately I can't make it to OSH this year but maybe someone who is there can find out from the Diamond staff onsite what the story is on this 9-month old yet-to-be-communicated issue...

I doubt Diamond would tell you unless you are the aircraft owner.

The various AD's about oil pumps is probably a hint.
