What EIS is best for DA40

Post by trepine »

I’m up for mag overhaul. Wondering what the best EIS options are for a DA40. Also what are costs for anyone that’s done them.

Thanks

The Surefly SIM4N currently retails at $1395.00. A couple of hours to install. You should also get one of these, which is not supplied in the kit:

Lycoming also markets the Surefly under their name. I don't know if there might be some subtle differences in the product line or price. Probably worth checking into.

Thanks all. Read both threads. Think I will go with the SureFly, no time advance. Will have to ask about the new higher voltage units
