Re: MFD North Up or Track Up?
Track up on MFD and north up on iPad.
Why? Both views have benefits.
If I could only have one view I would choose track up because I like the relative perspective for location of obstacles, traffic, weather, approach routes, etc. Its more intuitive for me to glance down and see what’s around relative to where my nose is pointing.

Re: MFD North Up or Track Up?
I like North up on the MFD. I have Track up on my iPad with Foreflight linked via BT to my Garmin 345R for closer traffic, waypoints, etc. But for the MFD I prefer to see more traditional map display, especially when looking at weather farther along my route of flight. It just makes more sense comparing location of Tstorms, etc with a traditional map view.

Re: MFD North Up or Track Up?
I use Track up on MFD and North up on iPad because I don't want to rotate the sectional chart.
Also, I usually turn off topography on MFD map in day flight. Personally, it's easier to see the traffic with TOPO off.
