Great photo! Reminds me of yet another reason flying yourself is so much better than taking the airlines at FL 350. Maybe everyone can contribute one of their favorite "low altitude" photos. Below is Meteor Crater in Winslow, AZ a couple of years ago:

Here's a shot of Mount St Helens I snapped several years back through the canopy.
The Pacific Northwest is a target-rich environment for aerial photography.

Home, Sweet Home. Here is a sunset shot just after departing Torrance Airport, where I am based. Photo is Palos Verdes, CA where I live and Catalina Island is on the horizon. Photo taken at 1500 feet MSL.
