Re: Dead battery
One of the advantages of having a Steam gauge panel is hearing the whine of the gyros when the master is on...
... and the slow spool down as your aircraft goes to sleep after the Master is turned off...

Re: Dead battery
I know it's been awhile on my reply. After doing deep recharge and all those other things that are required by the Concord manual I was able to bring it back and it seems to be working fine. I will definitely leave my position lights on from now on

Re: Dead battery
I was going to say perhaps 1:100 so you must be pretty lucky. I got one to come back once and it was maybe even younger than yours. It regained it’s strength enough to start the engine but would not hold a solid charge for very long and after a few months of babying it we had enough and ultimately replaced it.

Re: Dead battery
Has anyone installed a Battery Minder kit so that the battery can be maintained while still installed In the aircraft?

Same here - always connected via a plug under the external power door.
