Update... Pulled every box in the rack in the tail cleaned and dried and the problem still exists.. Does anyone know what box would need be replaced to fix this?

Jeffrey, did you try the connectors to the PFD/MFD display panel(s) / screen(s)? That is where the issue was for me...

Had that problem; replaced the AHRS and loads else; hours and hours with various avionics shops including Diamond Canada [who did not find/fix the problem].
In my case it turned out to be 'simply' a wiring problem: poor crimps on the connectors between the magnetometer and the AHRS. There are 4 connectors between the magnetometer in the right wing and the AHRS in the rack in the back: the avionics shop did a gentle pull test on each of the four wires on the 4 connectors and two wires just pulled straight out of their crimps. Re-crimped and all good after. So you may want to look at the connectors first.

I used to rent a 2005 DA40 where there were frequent loss of AHRS. I do recall some explanation that didn't make sense and I don't care to repeat it here. It was very frustrating. I don't know if the link below can help provide a path to discovering the issue.
