Alternator Annunciator but Volts/Amps normal

On the past two flights, I've had the red "Alternator" annunciator appear on the G1000 PFD but the amps and volts remain normal with no discernible dips or oscillations. (28.5V & ~+11A)

The issue first occurred on a flight in cruise. No circuit breakers were tripped and cycling the alternator master did not change the annunciator light. The annunciator remained on until final descent when it came on and off a few times. I went on a second flight to see if the issue remained and the annunciator came on and off a few times during climb but then remained on the rest of the flight. The voltage and current readings remained normal.

Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know what could cause the annunciator to come on while voltage and current readings are normal?

I am of course going to have the shop look at it but hoping some feedback may help with where they should start the troubleshooting.

Thanks,
Kyle

Search for alternator on the forums. There was an issue with a relay that often caused this sort of symptom.

Or you have a slipping belt caused by a broken or cracked alternator bracket. I just had this

Thanks. Did you also have the annunciator light but with no indications of volts/amps issues or did your volts or amps also show a problem?
