Saying goodbye to my trusty DA40
I wanted to write a brief note of thanks to all the members of this forum for the countless pieces of advice over the years whilst owning my trusty DA40. Sadly, my local airport is closing and it has left me with zero fields in my vicinity to fly out of. Left with no options and not wanting to put it somewhere as a lawn orament, I opted to let it go to a good home

Re: Saying goodbye to my trusty DA40
Had to say goodbye to my DA40 today. The upside is that I know it's going to a good home in Placerville CA. My new ELSA Bristell should be in the U.S. in February.
I want to thank all the members who have provided over eight years of fantastic advise and guidance. This forum is a tremendous resource. I sure the new owner will join soon, if he hasn't already.
Thanks again.
