Air filter Oiling

I have read on the forum that a number of you have JR or K&N filters on your DA-40's. These filters are filters that use the spray blue or red oil.
On my 2012, there is no oil on the filter. Just the white filter. I will be removing the cowling in the next week or so to do some periodic maintenance and will find out exactly what make filter it is.
Question here do others have non-oiled air filters on their aircraft. I checked the DA-40 maintenance manual and see no mention of air filters being oiled so perhaps these are after market products. Also wondering where you found K&N's or JR filters. I may upgrade at my June annual.
