There are a number of different stall warning horns for the DA40. The horns are calibrated differently to allow adjustment of the speed they sound at.

This is due to the fact the stall warning aperture cannot be adjusted like a Cessna.

The MM 27-39 requires that you fit the identical part and at the end of the chapter instructs you on how to perform a check to determine which horn is fitted.

For anyone that has fitted a Cessna horn I would strongly suggest a stall test to ensure it works at the right time. There is of course a set procedure for that too.
