Any documentation stating what the improvements in version C are? Is it any quieter?
No documentation apart form an invoice similar to yours. And yes, now that you say so it has become quite enough that I have difficulty hearing it with the Bose headset in noise cancelling mode.
Thats good to hear. It always sounds as if its trying to tear itself apart... and in my case has done so.

Sorry for the late info Antoine, I only just came across you request. My contact in 2008 was Sheri Kirkpatrick <kirkpatrick (at) dukesinc.com> I've attached a scan of the invoice below.

Cheers,
Nigel.
Nigel,
Do you know what the core charge is for this pump? I might just keep my old one as a spare. At 1100 hours I am inclined to replace the original pump with the newer version.

I sent mine back for refurbishing so I didn't get a core quote. I keep the spare under my back deck along with a couple of fine wire spark plugs and a quart of oil.

I am about to replace the electric fuel pump on my DA40. I would appreciate it if anybody who has purchased a new or rebuilt unit from either Diamond or Dukes could provide me with specific information on cost (please specify what revision) or core charges. Feel free to post here or PM me. Thanks.

I learned today that there are two different varieties of boost pump on the DA40:
5100-00-9 and 5100-00-19. Unfortunately, according to a Diamond service center the factory did not keep records so the only way to know which one you have is to read the number on the pump or hopefully find it in a logbook entry.
