Cheers,

Do you know what the core charge is for this pump? I might just keep my old one as a spare. At 1100 hours I am inclined to replace the original pump with the newer version.

Re: Boost Pump
I sent mine back for refurbishing so I didn't get a core quote. I keep the spare under my back deck along with a couple of fine wire spark plugs and a quart of oil.Gary wrote:Nigel,Nigel wrote:Sorry for the late info Antoine, I only just came across you request. Re: Boost Pump
I am about to replace the electric fuel pump on my DA40. I would appreciate it if anybody who has purchased a new or rebuilt unit from either Diamond or Dukes could provide me with specific information on cost (please specify what revision) or core charges. Feel free to post here or PM me. Thanks.

Re: Boost Pump
I learned today that there are two different varieties of boost pump on the DA40:
5100-00-9 and 5100-00-19. Unfortunately, according to a Diamond service center the factory did not keep records so the only way to know which one you have is to read the number on the pump or hopefully find it in a logbook entry.
