Re: Boost Pump
I bought a charger, see link. It is a good equipment and could be used as a Gnd power as well. Fellow pilots here in Buochs are using it for the monthly FMS update of the PC 12.
I put it on from time to time in Winter to keep the battery up.

Re: Boost Pump
Thanks Thomas for the link. Weather should be fine, just the usual morning stratus but I heard it should stay dry until monday or so.
Have a safe flight

Re: Boost Pump
I just stumbled across and old email from a Diamond Service center MidWest Avtech in Peru IL. They have a 2003 DA40 with over 7,000 hours. They replaced the boost pump at 1,700 hrs and not since so at least one pump has lasted over 5,000 hours. They also replaced pumps on other DA40s at 1,400 and 2,000 hours.

Sorry for the late info Antoine, I only just came across you request. My contact in 2008 was Sheri Kirkpatrick <kirkpatrick (at) dukesinc.com> I've attached a scan of the invoice below.Antoine wrote:anybody has a part number and contact at Dukes? the did not respond to my enquiry so far...

Re: Boost Pump
No documentation apart form an invoice similar to yours. And yes, now that you say so it has become quite enough that I have difficulty hearing it with the Bose headset in noise cancelling mode.Nigel wrote:Any documentation stating what the improvements in version C are?
