Sideslip

The DA20 Flight Manual does not mention sideslip, does this mean that it is not an approved manoeuvre?

A sideslip is an important part of the repertoire of flight maneuvers for flying the DA20. Very useful when landing with crosswinds.

Just make sure the wing is down in the direction of turn, which is a slip. If the wing is down away from the direction of the turn, that is a skid.. If you were to stall in a slip the airplane will go back towards wings level.. if you stall in a skid, you will flip upside down! The plane will roll in the direction of the rudder that you have input
