DA20 Down

Post by Colin »

Anyone we know? No one headed to the hospital and apparently it was a plane-on-plane action (one on the ground, one landing). Out in the Pacific Northwest.

Full tail number is N397JA. It's owned by a company in Lake Worth, FL. The tail number doesn't show up on the forum. I haven't found any information on the incident yet...

Where did you find this picture, Colin?

Two airplanes collided, intersecting runways, the DA20-C1 was on its landing roll, the other plane was NORDO.

A flight instructor for the school told the story in Private Pilots Club, a Facebook group.

Depending on the asking price, I might make an offer on the wreckage, there might be some interesting spare parts for my airplane in there.

Apparently the school owns several other DA20-C1s and they will be keeping the wreck for parts.
