Re: Glare Shield
I was quoted upwards of 5500$ USD to install a heated pitot on my DA20-C1. As if these things were made of solid gold or something.
Heated pitot is a requirement for VFR over the top in Canada. So not only will my bird never be IFR certified, but as it is it can't do VFR OTT which would be very useful in the northeast.

Re: Glare Shield
I had to replace my heated stall horn (required for FIKI certification) on my DA42 and the price was about the same. These are expensive toysPascal wrote:I was quoted upwards of 5500$ USD to install a heated pitot on my DA20-C1. As if these things were made of solid gold or something.
