Just starting my homework before calling Diamond and getting their price. My upholstery is starting to show some age and I want to get it replaced within the next year. Anyone with knowledge of Diamond's price(s)? I currently have leather (or close to leather) and I want to use a higher quality material. Also looking at the baggage compartment area as part of the refurb. Any recommendations for a non-Diamond solution? I'm based out of Florida.

Re: DA-20 Upholstery
Hi Mark
I am having my aircraft interior redone by these people.
http://www.customaircrafttrimmers.com/
If you search the forum you'll find a thread about a DA40 rework.
If you'd like top quality this is the best I am aware of. There are two catches:
1. weight (quality leather is heavier and they also put tons of foam for comfort)
2. distance. While they will arrange pickup and return, it is still a hurdle...
regarding #1 - you can of course have it done in part leather and part alcantara, and not do the glare shield... but I thought it is better to mention it...
Their work is simply amazing, and the weather is light years better than the standard aviation stuff which we have in our planes.
(And I think the DA20 can look stunning because the basic shapes of the interior are so good.)

Re: DA-20 Upholstery
Appreciate the link - comfortable looking seats. Useful load and my butt2noggin height will keep me adding additional weight and height to the seat - I only have a couple of inches before I start dragging my headset across the canopy. I'll figure out a Florida solution so the logistics remain simple.

Re: DA-20 Upholstery
Is the leather torn or cracked? If not it is very easy to re-dye the seats and they will look like new again. You will spend pennies on the dollar.
