Beringer wireless tire pressure measurement (SensAir)

Post by michael.g.miller »

Saw this on COPA and had to forward it on, this might be enough to get me to switch to Beringer.

Beringer's new system (only with their wheels) gives airplane owners the ability to check tire pressure and temperature with just their smartphone! https://www.beringer-aero.com/en/sensair

Finally, our planes are becoming more like cars! Hopefully this will get a DA42 STC soon...

Seems like SensAir is now certified for DA40/42/62, at least according to Beringer's Facebook page. I couldn't find a definitive three wheel kit price, but some article from last year referenced $400-something per wheel.

My DA42 is just now in maintenance and gets Beringers with Sensair.
I will let you know as soon as I get the invoice.

Hi folks - I purchased a kit directly from Beringer in France for my SR22, It was €950 + VAT a few people on the Cirrus forum have mentioned the figure above????? Fitting was not an issue although you have to replace the O rings when the wheels are separated. I have had a few issues with how long it takes to sync (not always immediate) but it is a very nice system for a quick confirmation. Does show how warm the wheels get post landing! There is no battery replacement the whole sensor is replaced which is about €55 + VAT
