I've thought about it. Right now I live on the very fringe of the beta program, latitude-wise, and there are questions of latency which could impact certain stuff I do. Recent reviews indicate this as-yet-incomplete system can be flaky and the available beta equipment is a kludge. We'll see how it develops.

The service I have has been adequate. Only really large downloads (like MacOS updates) get to be annoying. Of course, if I were to be updating the entirety of my FF subscription (all US + Canada) every time this would also become a problem.

An unlimited cellular data plan is also an option. Verizon's coverage map shows good coverage in Prineville and pricing is similar to internet rates. Make your cell phone or iPad a "hot spot" and away you go.

Running internet speed tests with my Verizon-connected iPhone vs either my laptop or my iPhone through my local provider yields essentially identical results.

Would you consider it as a good internet option, Sir?
Is this something to install on the airplane or for land use specifically?
Just want to have some idea

From what I have seen, Starlink is amazing. So far it is ground-based only.

I am currently on T-Mobile's 5G home service. 100Mbps for $65 a month, no data cap. Seems amazing so far. I'm going to test for a week before I cancel Xfinity/Comcast which is $135 a month for whatever-we-can-get-you-don't-bother-calling.

Thanks. 100Mbps with no cap is good for $65.month. Will it subject to weather condition tho? Also, Xfinity do have high download speed with $135. I think I got 250-300Mbps download speed with data cap.

5G won't be seen in my area in my lifetime. At least 98% of my internet usage is handled just fine with what I have. Loading these every-8-week extra bulges is really the only annoyance. Updating my three devices with partial US/Canada is about 4 hours for these newly unbalanced downloads is the only annoyance.

I’d imagine some nice place with lots of acres and fruit trees and of course a private air strip :D

Xfinity was *sometimes* faster for $135 a month, but we've had a storm or two now with the T-Mobile and it has been fine. I'll be dropping Xfinity this coming week.
