Hi,
does anyone have machine readable values of the various Diamonds for the performance data (ch. 5 of AFM/POH).
Take/off, Cruise, Landing...
The graphs are difficult to transform into e.g. an excel file.
Inquiry with Diamond Inc. already sent, but so far no luck
Thanks in advance!
Patrick

You could try opening in Acrobat and exporting the table to Excel. Or even cut/paste. It won't be pretty.

The DA40-180 only has graphical charts, so no exporting/parsing possible.

Re: Diamond performance data machine readable
That's true. I have thought about gathering a set of representative data points from these charts, producing a multidimensional matrix and thereby a "unified theory" equation. I used to do stuff like this way back when I did interesting scientific and engineering computer programming. It would be fun to relearn this and try it - were I not so lazyaustropilot wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 12:03 pm The DA40-180 only has graphical charts, so no exporting/parsing possible.
But the T/O, climb, and airspeed performance charts are known to be out of date and don't represent later DA40s, those with Powerflow exhaust, or different propellers. They do generally present conservative numbers numbers for most, so in that respect they'd be useful.
