Does anyone here know of a good G1000 forum?
Thanks.

Re: Good G1000 Forum
There are lots of G1000 tutorials on YouTube, but the problem with the G1000 is that their software is often airframe specific, so if you have a particular Diamond question then this is about as good a place as any to raise it.

Tom,
I'm not sure what specific information you are looking for but for Diamond aircraft, DAN is the best forum I have seen. Thinking back, I can recall many good discussions on G1000 issues that provides insights that were not to be found (or at least understood) in the G1000 documentation. I learned more here than I did with the King G1000 training that I took just before I purchased my DA40. The only problem with a forum structured this way is retrieving all of that intelligence. It could take awhile.
Chris & Kai -- Maybe a $19.95 eBook, "Practical Tips for Diamond Owners from Diamond Aviators Network"? Could bring in a little revenue.

Re: Good G1000 Forum
There's a book by Max Prescott, "G1000 and Perspective Glass Cockpit Handbook", that's pretty good. He makes an effort to point out differences between the installs in different airframes, and he hits on a number of items that others did not address. It's available from Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Trescott-G1000-P ... erspective

I read Max Prescott's book cover to cover a couple times. That's a good resource.
